RIVUS accessibility plan:
- One new road bridge across Someșul Mic river: four vehicle lanes, two sidewalks, and two bicycle lanes, all connected via a smart traffic light system.
- Two pedestrian bridges – one direct and picturesque connection with the opposite bank of Someș River.
- Roundabouts and street upgrades: the upgrades to Porțelanului Street and Câmpul Pâinii Street and two new roundabouts will ensure a safe and streamlined traffic.
- Smart traffic light system: the junction between Paris Street, Câmpul Pâinii Street, and Porțelanului Street will be fitted with a smart traffic light system, adapted to the real-time traffic flows.
- Landscaping design: pedestrian alleys and bicycle lanes around the project.
- Bicycle lanes: 3,200 meters of bicycle lanes will cross the project and connect with the existing infrastructure to enable sustainable transportation.
- Parking lots: 4,800 parking spaces
